The production volume of the Dutch cigar industry can be deduced from the CBS (Central Statistical Office) statistic concerning the sales of manufactured products. The following table gives an overview of the sales of products, manufactured by the Dutch cigar industry in 2004 and 2005.

With a total production volume of more than 2.5 billion cigars, the Dutch industry together with its foreign subsidiaries is the second largest cigar manufacturer in the world, behind the Unites States of America !
